Shalom
dear Elaine!
I am so
so sorry, not to write you for so long. I am on the list all
the time, but be cause we have our own lively list here in
Finland I am not able to follow discussion as closely as I
would like to. ...BTW one of our Finnish list told me you
missed me so busy I am these days! We got our first SCD-cooking
weekend on 11-13. August and it was a success. There were
SCDers and our family members all cooking super delicious
food and having fun!
I never
thought leading such a group and baking could be so cause
so much fun. On our egroup-list there is now 23 finnish people
and almost all of them have started SCD. I am beginning to
make some big Changes with my WEB-page on this week, to get
it with additive recipes and info for starters etc.
I cannot
imagine how lively our list has become since we started. We
got one lady selling almond flour and other dry SCD foods,
one father has invented small yoghurt heater, which can be
used on car by using tobacco-lightner (?)...we used it on
our one and a half week vacation to make SCD-yoghurt and I
also ate it on board sailing towards to Stocholm (6th month
mark while staying in Sweden)!! ...and one grandpapa making
contacts to get BTVC in Finnish. Few days earlier they put
my link from CC-foundations web-page to my SCD-WEB-page....every
week we are having one or two newbies on board. These things
I could tell you over and over again :)
And about
my health....First time in 5 years I am full time student
in University of Oulu plus having my free-time as I used to
have before getting ill. No symphtoms, my blood tests are
completely normal and having lots of fun! Bicycling, walking,
swimming, travelling, working, e-mailing, studying and enjoying
my wonderful new life. The best part is, that I can enjoy
seeing when other Finns are getting their life back to track
and getting better as I have. Elaine, I have had my all wonderful
dreams back.
If I had
to choose among every poeple from the whole world one human
being, that I would want to see in heaven, it would be you,
dear Elaine. I know you have heard this so many times, that
it might be hard for you to see it clearly, what a great and
blessing work you have done for us and for our families. It
is something I wonder every day, when I think about you, Mom.
love
God Bless,
kirsi (Crohn's)

Oh, how
I enjoyed your letter and I am not cutting and pasting because
I want all our new ones to see your inspiring letter. A very
fine fellow in Germany is now working on getting a German
publisher to buy the rights to BTVC in German and he is translating
it into German quickly. Germany is a big country with people
who are generally quite receptive to new ideas. I do not speak
for the medical profession but come on you medical doctors,
we have room on board. Love and best wishes and thanks for
your good wishes. We had a blessing with our
daughter and from Dr. Haas and every night I pray that
God will let his spirit guide me in spreading his word throughout
the world. Amen
